Report on Module “How to Install a Light Fixture”
Tools and Functions Used
The main tool that I used to complete this module was the computer. I used it to post my module and to type out the directions and information for it. The computer was also useful in taking the pictures off of my digital camera and putting them onto my computer so that I could upload them to WordPress. My digital camera was another tool that I used in order to complete the module. I took pictures of myself changing a light fixture in order to aid anyone using this module.
The only other tools that I used were the ones that were listed in tools needed portion of my module, including a screw driver, wire cutters, and wire nuts. I then used the WordPress website to put all of the information that I had to share on the Internet.
New Skills Learned
The new skill that I learned during this process was to make a module to teach people how to do something. I was unsure of how to do that before this assignment. Hopefully I have successfully learned how to create a learning module that is useful for many learning types.
Challenges Overcome
I did not encounter any major challenges during this process. All aspects of the project went smoothly. Many of the challenges that I thought I might face I didn’t because I learned how to do those things during the Culture Site project.
